Tamassee-Salem Middle School is the newest Green Power Solar School
On May 8th, Tamassee-Salem Middle School was dedicated as the 17th Green Power Solar School in South Carolina. The school is equipped with a solar cell array that is already producing electricity from the sun's rays, providing students with a hands-on learning look at solar technology. Students, educators and utility representatives gathered around the pole-mounted solar array to mark the introduction of the Green Power Solar School program at the school.
Membership Has Its Privileges
During the week of April 17, more than $600,000 in capital credit checks have been returned to members who had service with Blue Ridge Electric Co-op in 1984.

A cool, cloudy evening saw about 5,000 persons present for Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative's 69th Annual Meeting of Members.
Blue Ridge Employees Judge Future Scientists
Blue Ridge employees participated in the annual science fair at Orchard Park Elementary on Tuesday, January 13, and at A. R. Lewis Elementary on Monday, December 8, by judging entries from 4th and 5th grade students.
