Each summer Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative sponsors two high school juniors (rising seniors) to attend a week in Washington, D.C. This educational trip is an all expense paid six day trip to join over a thousand students from all over the United States.
This year's 2008 Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour representatives have been selected. Jennifer MacDonald of T.L. Hanna High School, the daughter of Alan and Candy MacDonald and Tyler Polomski of Wren High School, the son of Robert and Susan Polomski will serve as ambassadors for Blue Ridge Electric on this summer's Washington Youth Tour scheduled to take place June 14-19. Congratulations Jennifer and Tyler!
