2008 Washington Youth Tour Representatives Selected
Each summer Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative sponsors two high school juniors (rising seniors) to attend a week in Washington, D.C. This educational trip is an all expense paid six day trip to join over a thousand students from all over the United States. This year's 2008 Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative Washington Youth Tour representatives have been selected.

Deer are the most common animals involved in collisions. Every year across the U.S., deer-vehicle collisions number in the hundreds of thousands. Annually, around 7000 motorists are injured from these collisions, with over 100 fatalities.
