Outdoor Security Lighting
 Outdoor Lighting services are available to members of the Cooperative for a monthly fee. Service under this schedule is limited to all night outdoor lighting service using the Cooperative's standard overhead equipment on wood poles.
Lamps will burn approximately one-half hour after sunset until approximately one-half hour before sunrise. The Cooperative will replace burned out lamps and otherwise maintain the fixture during regular working hours as soon as practicable following notification by the member.
Sodium-vapor and mercury-vapor lighting options are available. Several size options are also available. An engineer will be glad to assist you in the appropriate lighting option for your residence or business.

Light Outage Service
If you notice that an outdoor security light installed by Blue Ridge Electric appears to be out or functioning improperly, please notify us immediately by calling our Customer Service Center at 1-800-240-3400.
Decorative Lighting
For individuals who are interested in outdoor lighting other than our standard security light, Blue Ridge Electric Co-op offers a line of decorative lamps and poles.
 The Shoebox: Ideal for illuminating streets and parking lots. This fixture is a modern blend of style and function.
 The Traditional: This colonial-style fixture compliments any neighborhood or office park. It can be used for either walkway or parking area lighting.
 The Acorn: Create a nostalgic atmosphere with this turn of the century fixture. As functional as it is attractive.
 The Sphere: A walkway and area lighting fixture that is compatible and complimentary to today’s contemporary architecture.
*A choice of several long-lasting fiberglass pole lengths are available.
